Hallways get overlooked. A lot. Most homeowners focus their flooring budget on the living room or kitchen, and the upstairs hall just kind of stays whatever it was. But that space gets a ton of foot traffic every single day - and it's one of the first things you notice when you walk up the stairs.
This upper-level hallway is a great example of what a straightforward laminate install can do for a space. We laid down a warm, natural oak-tone laminate that works with the neutral walls and white trim already in place. Nothing forced. It just fits.
The clean lines running down the length of the hall give it a longer, more open feel. And the tight fit along the baseboards is something we pay close attention to on every job. Gaps and rough edges around the trim are usually the first thing to give away a sloppy install. We don't cut corners there.
Laminate is a smart choice for hallways specifically because it holds up. It handles daily wear, is easy to clean, and keeps its look a lot longer than carpet would in a high-traffic area like this. No fussing with stains or worn-down paths near the doorways.
If your upstairs hallway has been on your list for a while, this is the kind of update that actually makes a difference. It ties the whole upper level together and makes every room off that hall feel more finished.
